Ummm. That was stupid.
Dye won or shared 4 SEC championships in the 1980's. He won 3 straight. AU was the SEC team of the 80's. He won a national championship in 1983. He won 2 sugar bowls. He had a heisman trophy winner. He broke a 9 year drought against Bama in his second year. He won 4 straight against Bama and was two fluke plays away from winning 8 straight against Bama.

Bear, Price, and a few other bammer coaches are equal or bigger drunks than dye is. It is slightly hyopcritical for bammers to call a coach at another school a drunk when you would have a hard time finding a bammer coach who was not a drunk

I will let it go unless TT12 wants to get into it over whether AU has a legit claim in 1983. If he does, after I am done with AU's '83 claim I will compare to several of Bama's claims to see what is most legit.

Price didn't even coach a game at Bama. Bama fans rip some of those coaches you mentioned more than you do.
As for the Bear... he liked his drinks. No argument there.
