The committee has stated they hold UGA’s resume in very high regard because they have beaten more bowl eligible P5 teams (8), than anyone else.
UGA is a lock for the playoffs, because that’s how’s the committee will vote.

How many of those times was UGA the favorite against the Gumps? There are a 100 teams that haven't beaten Bama since.... Bama is/was a giant among men. The worm is turning.

None of that changes the fact that Georgia can afford to lose, while a loss ends Bama's season, other than a meaningless bowl game.
