This year, Alabama has Bo Scar, Damien Harris, Ronnie Clark and a bunch of walk-ons at running back, correct?
Actually you forgot to add Joshua Jacobs in there he will most likely be third string than Ronnie Clark, but regardless when have you ever seen Bama rely on a 3rd string to carry a portion of the load.

Official yet? I'd heard they were waiting on approval.

Any word on Davis?

These kids are such jackasses. You have to do so little work to be able to play college football, from an academic perspective. Just do the freaking minimum.

Emmons being ineligible is 100% false. From what I am hearing Davis will not be an academic RS this year.

If true, the BJ Emmons news is really bad. He was highly likely to be the 3rd string HB. Scarborough is coming off an ACL tear, and Harris flat out sucked as a freshman.

Why on earth was Emmons our only HB in this class? Especially if he was a borderline academic casualty. It is our thinnest position by far. That's why Henry had to run it 40 times a game at the end of the year.

1st......Emmons is NOT a casualty, that's a rumor the board keeps running with.

2nd......Josh Jacobs is in the class as well, so Emmons was not the only on ein the class.

That's true. I forgot about us signing him last minute. Hopefully he turns out to be good and not just a film freak. Sounds like he will be our 3rd string guy then. He better get to work in the weight and film room fast. If one dude above him gets hurt he could end up getting 150-200 carries.

but the same applies for LSU and LF.

LSU has two backs behind LF with a lot of game experience, and Guice is no ordinary backup

Generally I agree, but a lot of these kids come from schools that just hand out grades and send kids along. They simply do not care if kids are learning nor do they hold kids accountable academically. Then, low and behold, they can't even come close to scoring high enough on the SAT/ACT to get eligible. Then you have other kids who also have no one at home looking out for them, and they jack around with school until it's too late. They don't have academic advisers on top of them like they do in college. And quite frankly, a lot of them aren't exactly college material in the first place, they just play football well.
