Anderson didn't have a great game against Ole Miss and hasn't recorded a sack yet.

However, in 3 games he has 9 hurries and 6 hits on the QB. That's T3 in the SEC in hurries and T2 in the SEC in hits on the QB. In PFF's PSR stat (overall pass rush ranking) he's T3 in the SEC.

Long story short, he's gotten after the QB. Being a disciplined bookend in run defense is always something that is hard for a young player to learn.

Stetson has plays drawn for the middle of the field. So the TEs and slot receivers get most of the burn. See why Kearis Jackson is getting big numbers right now and Pickens isn't.

He doesn't have the arm talent for those deep fade routes most pocket passers can make and Saban knows this. The wildcard for Bennett is he has some decent wheels and can get away from most pass rushers even the explosive ones.

Ole Miss was stealing the Bama D’s signals so we don’t know how good the pass rush is just yet.

Man you're cold-blooded..

Honestly it’s been getting there at times. But Jesus Christ those dudes cannot tackle a qb. Corral stiff armed out guys like some 5th grader was trying to tackle him

It actually started when Pruitt left town. The failed promotion of Tosh as DC instead of hiring a real DC will go down as one of Nick's big F ups. We're still trying to recover from that mistake and 3 years of poor recruiting at ILB....not rankings but player performance. #11 should be playing at Bama instead of 10RC. Pruitt and Kirby and in some cases Jimbo are getting star players that Bama would have signed years back. The changing of the guard.

It happens.

Agree completely. There used to be a big gap between Bama and everyone else. Now Georgia has closed the gap to razor thin with UT and TAMU coming fast. And the usual suspects Auburn, LSU, and Florida. Just more parity now and that came about because of Saban setting the standard.

Tennessee was bracketing Pickens with the safety.

I dont know if Auburn was doing the same thing. But the 2/3 of the field is pretty open when Pickens is commanding 2 DBs.
