Middle linebacker pkay...not that great...Guys also still taking bad angles to make tackles.
He's playing himself into the MLB he used to be before the injury. When you're on the shelf for that long with a serious knee injury, it takes time to regain the form and confidence it takes to be a great player. Each week he just keeps playing harder and looser! The guy's a bonafide pro at the next level and you're just jealous! He QB'S our defense and you're seeing the results!

Alabama's defense has one big advantage over its closest SEC statistical competitors (Georgia, Texas A&M and Missouri): It hasn't had to face Alabama's offense in a game.

The rules have changed to benefit the offenses since then. This is clearly a different day. But, for today's game of wide open offenses, yes Virginia, this is a shutdown D for the climate of now & tomorrow!
I actually think this part is correct. 92 and 11 would have problems with the new era of offense happening. The game is changing and the idea that a good defense will stop a good offense is just not true anymore.
Bama’s defense is playing good enough to allow the offense to outpace anyone in the nation. That’s all that really matters

They have certainly played great since halftime of the UGA game.

There will probably never be a defense that will equal the 92 bama defense
