Gotta laugh at the numerous Barners posting in a thread about Bamas 5th and 6th string RB's. Dont yall have a big game coming up?

Coaches like Tyren Jones. Kamara has been in the dog house.
I'll never understand why both of them went to Bama...both of them could have gotten some serious PT this year at UGA with Gurley and Marshall going down, but now one of them will likely transfer to North Alabama or something

So go sit behind Gurley and Marshall while Yeldon and Drake got hurt?

UGA fans can see the future. They know before the season they wont be winning anything.

No, go sit behind Gurley and Marshall rather than sit behind Yeldon, Drake, Fowler, Henry, Tenpenny, and whatever 5 star y'all pull in this year.

I could have told them that and I'm no psychic

Depth is a many splendid thing, maybe your "coach" if you call him that might try it sometime.

Yeah that would be nice. I'm not really arguing that, just saying it didn't make sense at the time why they both went there when there was already a logjam at the position

I often question Richt's roster management (ie not oversigning/planning for attrition) but this statement is dumb. I'm sure Bama would have done awesome without Yeldon, Drake, Cooper, Norwood, and Bell (loose approximation of what we lost)

Do us as fans have some sort of effect on the outcome of the game? Posting in this thread will be detrimental to the team on January 6th?
Maybe you don't understand how this website works.

Bell
Bell was our fifth WR, and only because he was a fifth year Senior and AJ's friend. He lost a step from last year, and speed was all he had going for him. He caught like 11 passes all year, we'd have been just fine without him.

Henry and Tenpenny saw some time this year.
What is the future for Jones and Kamara?
Processed?
Move up the depth chart?
Change position?
I understand that they are seeking transfers to Texas, but I don't know why....

But he could see that Bama was STACKED at RB already. Dumb move on his part.
True champions aren't afraid of competition; they seek it.

OK then DeAndrew White. My point was that no team has the depth to lose their top 2 RBs and the top 3-4 receivers and not miss a beat.

I get that, but if you're an 18 year old kid looking to go to the NFL one day, you don't try to compete with 6 or 7 other 4 and 5 star guys for a starting spot when you can compete with 1 or 2 on another team. It makes no logical sense if you're looking out for your own interests.

But Flatwoods, we all have the same 85 scholarships per team. With RB being such a high risk of injury position, why would having 7 talented scholarship RB's be a bad thing? If your coach isn't using roster maximization then that is his fault.

would be a great WR in the Christion Jones mold
Bo is considerably bigger than Chrition, I wouldn't think they are really similar. Jones was a DB/WR type out of high school whereas Bo has the size to play linebacker

Oh, I'm not arguing that it's Saban's fault by any means. He's doing his job. I just think Kamara was foolish for buying into the hype when he could have had a lot better chance of playing time at another school.

I'm sure glad Eddie Lacy didn't take that approach... "Ingram, Richardson and Upchurch?! No thanks!"
