LSU's wideouts are a little better, but I agree with you that it's overhyped. Bama's receivers are very good. Just look at the athleticism of Kenny Bell who doesn't even start.
Each unit on these two teams is very good. When we give an advantage to one team over the other we're choosing future NFL starters over future NFL backups. They're still NFL caliber. (except your kickers and our QBs)
I hope we beat the shite out of y'all, but I have to say, Bama's a great team...top to bottom.

Clearly LSU has played much tougher competition throughout the season (except, of course, you guys did have to play the best team in the country) and our offensive stats (especially consider Maze/Randle) are miles ahead.
When you're in New Orleans this weekend feel free to test out of your car will float while driving on one of the bridges.

Look at the QB's since the 1st game:
JJ: 38-63, 494 yds., 4 TD's, 1 INT
AJ: 46-66, 537 yds., 6 TD's, 1 INT
I'm not seeing a huge difference there.

LSU played the #3 and #12 teams since then.
Alabama played........ #19 and a 1-AA team...?
That being said, I think both are very much even.
ETA: And the #19 team was playing like a 1-AA after the beatdown at LSU, til the end of the season..

Given how shitty LSU's QBs have been, Randle's stats are amazing
all the wrs numbers are down since jj took over five games ago. jj's playbook is designed more towards his legs and him running to make plays.
that's called adjusting your gameplan to your players.

LSU is also outstanding, I'm just not seeing this supposed major talent advantage on the edges that keep getting brought up.
Maze is a very good WR he's made some big time plays for Bama during his career and so has Hanks.. these "experts" seem to think you have to score TDs on 80yd bombs to be considered good. Our WRs run great routes but they also are really good blockers. Bama uses it's RBs and TEs a lot in the passing game so it's no surprise about the #s of TDs they don't have.

Is there any position you don't see Bama having the advantage?

So, by some divine intervention, this was the first thread I came across this morning.
This is going to be a great day.

So your WRs are great and they don't catch TDs only because your offense throws to the RBs and TEs? Makes total sense. Championship BAMA!!!!!!!!!!
