I rather see a team that we are gonna have to play later on win. It just looks better for us if we beat them. IF!

Let me take you back to 2007. I don't have all the stats but I'm sure the quality of SEC play in OOC games played a part in LSU's 2 NC.

I'm going to say right now I want Bama to win, based on the SEC. However, I do live in Birmingham(45mins from Ground Zero) and have to deal with these people on a normal basis. I guess I will root for Alabama until one of your fans/my friends say something ridiculous and delusional. Alabama fans and the water/sewer system are the worst part about Birmingham

and wallowing in another team's loss. Certainly there are certain posters of every school that individually deserve some heckling when their team steps in it. But the blanket yukking it up in Utah's win last year by so many,was borderline pitiful and downright embarrassing by so many LSU fans,considering Alabama had beaten LSU.

I put my money on bama to win, but i will be pulling hard for them to lose. Either way, i win. I'd pull for a Bin Laden coached team to beat them.

do you guys think that the SEC love fest that some fans have for the entire conference is only an SEC thing? Personally, i want UVA to lose every game they play. Same with WVU when we were still in the Big East. I can't imagine there are many TX or OU fans out there that want the other team to win every week. Same with USC and Cal fans or pretty much any fans of teams in any other conference.

To me a game like this is a win - win proposition.
If Alabama loses, then I'll laugh my arse off while watching the Gumps jump off a cliff somewhere.
On the other hand, if Alabama wins, I can say, "Great win for the SEC"

I feel the same way. If they lose it will provide entertainment for next week. If they win it will be nice to say SEC is again the premier league.
