you said they should quit pump faking and shoot. A ball fake would insinuate there is a man guarding them because no one just stands there and pumps when no one is in their vicinity (except the head fake on NBA Jam)
eta: I'm not trying to argue about what you meant. But Bama should continue to drive it to the hole and get the ball on the rim. I don't know enough about Creighton but I'd assume Bama should have an advantage in the post. Feed which ever one of those guys isn't the suspended one and lock down on McDermott not with that slow kid who couldn't guard a statute.

Yea but Creighton is one of those teams that could go toe to toe if their 3s are falling, and UNC has always had trouble with that this season

Well obviously you dont watch Bama games because we can have a wide open shot and instead of taking the shot he will wait for the defender to run out and then pump fake and drive or pass.

well that isn't what you insinuated. but it may be best for Alabama not to shoot even wide open shots if its early in the shot clock because, frankly, you guys suck at shooting.

I'm not saying Bama is a bad team but it isn't wise for ANY team to shoot early in the shot clock if they are poor shooters. Bama's D is good enough to keep the game in the 60's and win against a team like Creighton

Bama shoots under 30% on three point attempts. Teams shoot better on threes when the ball works from inside -out, and the shooter can step into the shot. Bama is a better team in transition, is decent shooting free throws (except Randolph and Jacobs) and needs to attack the rim and try to score in the paint. It they cannot get a good shot in transition then they need to work to get a good shot in the half court set.
What frustrates some Tide fans and also contributes to the low per centage of threes made is that Bama often appears to have no idea how to attack a zone, and passes the ball around the perimeter until they have to jack up a difficult three late in the shot clock. It is better to shoot a good shot(even a three) early in the clock rather than a bad shot late in the clock.
Bama is not Loyola Marymount and they don't need to try to imitate them. They do need to attack Creighton and try to exploit a weak defensive team. Releford should have a huge day, along with Green. If they don't, it spells trouble for the Tide.
