For like the 3rd time, can you PLEASE tell me what Jones did so spectacular in the national championship game? How many catches? I keep seeing you slob on his knob but you have yet to tell me one meaningful stat of his, particularly during the January game. You just keep saying "oh he had a better game than OBJ when it mattered.

You're the idiot if you honestly think losing Claiborne, Taylor, and Brockers just made you better.
heard the same shite last year when Peterson, Nevis, and Sheppard left. you're the idiot because apparently you have no clue who is returning

Didn't say that. I said "he shite the bed in the biggest game in your school's history." LSU's 2011 team was on the cusp of college football immortality, and I don't think you can find ANYONE (LSU, Mizzou, Boise St, Akron, Our Sisters of the Deaf and Blind) who thinks that wasn't one of the worst coaching performances of all-time
Absolutely correct. Only competition I can think of is Ole miss in '09 with jj spiking the ball with no time left and Tennessee in '10. However those were more just bad time
Management towards the end of the game. The NC was an entire game of awful coaching and should have been an even bigger blowout.

It's like he became a Bama fan in 2009. Alabama has won exactly 2 times in Tiger Stadium in the past decade, one of those being a close game in OT. None of these games in BR were following a national championship between the two teams in which LSU was shut out. You have to be crazy to think this is like any other game. The revenge factor works BOTH ways.

He had more yards than OBJ. 47 total yards to OBJ 38 yards. Just pointing out that he will be good when he has that many yard in return yardage than LSU gave up all season. LSU gave up 3 return yards going into the NCG

I think a bigger question for LSU than QB play is how thr coaching staff responds after the BCS dismantling when it was clear they didn't have their team ready.
It should be another slugfest, dominated by the defenses. I'm a Bama fan, so I think we win, but wouldn't be surprised if we didn't. Should be a great game once again.

Well shite, what was I thinking? Jones > Beckham IMO. OBJ is a pussy for not getting 9 more yards with a mediocre QB.

TAMU in the shock of the century. Beats Bama 38-3 and LSU 71-70 in 7 overtimes after Les Miles elects to kick an extra point after scoring a touchdown.

Our opinions will be answered for when the season comes. I also put Jones>OBJ to get a rise out of LSU fans cus I know he is your best receiver ha.

meant 'old', on my phone, auto corrected to ago. and I doubt you said Jones>OBJ just to "get a rise" out of LSU fans, you probably legitimately believed that, but when no Bama fan came to your side to argue that fact, you just say you were trying to rile them up

Pretty funny to see you meltdown over an opinion though

Inside I can think Jones is better and will have the better season, but that does not mean I had to post it in this thread
, so yes I posted my opinion to get a rise out of LSU fans because I knew they would freak out and defens OBJ.

And nah im a junior at Alabama
Oh ok, it all makes sense now. It's not a meltdown if it's over stupid shite like saying a guy who had his best game against North Texas and caught 3 passes during the season is better than an All-Conference player just because he had more punt return yards than the other guy did, even though the other guy barely returned punts.

So have we all come to an agreement that Alabama will spank that arse next year?
Posted on 5/1/12 at 2:51 pm to GCTiger11
Ok better question. Chris Jones is our slot receiver and the number 3, so do you think OBJ is better than Norwood and Bell?

oh gotcha. Mettenberger is still better than McCarron though and Lacy is not as talented as any of LSU's 4 backs, FACT.
