Thanks for proving my point mr playstation champ.

pretty damn good coverage, but a perfect pass and great catch.

You might possibly be the only LSU fan who didn't see the BCSCG. McCarron threw at will at Mathieu. And there was not one damn thing Mathieu could do about it.

A lot of those throws were spot on and right on the money. You can't possibly say McCarron didn't play his best game. I didn't even have a clue who that Norwood kid was, but he played amazing too that night.

Coverage was good...

The point is that Mathieu is 5'9', and good, tall, athletic WRs and good QBS will continue to take advantage of that. Including Alabama.

I guess Alabama was the only team that realized TM was 5'7?

You couldn't score a TD in 8 quarters plus an OT last year, no matter who your QB was...and don't kid yourself...if Mett could have done better, he would have been playing.

Please. If anyone has been following LSU the past few seasons we all knew Mett had very little chance of playing this season.

And thanks for proving my point, football genius. How is Mathieu going to grow 6 inches between now and next year. Why on earth do you think Alabama showed no fear in throwing right at him. Why was that in their game plan...to throw right at him? Because they knew the huge size advantage they had.

What...you think McCarron and Norwood are the only ones in this league who can do that to Mathieu? Don't think for one moment that out friends in FayetteNam weren't watching. Why didn't other teams throw at him as much? Who knows...maybe some bought into the hype. But they all saw the BCSCG. Get ready for more of the same.

Playstation my arse. Until you can figure out a way to stretch three or four more inches out of Mathieu, he's gonna keep getting abused.

LSU by a considerable margin. It all comes down to which quarterback can successfully attack the opposing team's secondary

So obviously bama will win by at last 24.

AJ PWNED LSU last year and TM7 is TRASH. No matter what happens, AJ will always be able to exploit that huge deficiency in LSUs defense. He'll prolly pass for about 300 yards. 200 of which will be right at the honeybear.

LSUs offense is terrible and Mett has never played, so he's obvisouly worse than JJ and Lee.

#19 is on the way. ROLL MF TIDE!

Alabama and it will not even be close. We will win big in Baron Rouge this year and it will casue mass hysteria within the Tiger Nation.

Roll Tide baby, its going to be hard to stop this train.

Mathieu was exposed as absolute shite

He's definitely not shite but he was exposed as a weak cover corner. My guess is that teams will start throwing his way more often kind of like when teams run directly at fast defenses. Power neutralizes speed if you run right at it.

Mathieu is an opportunistic player which is defintely not a bad thing but he's not a consistent lockdown corner. What he can do is can change the course of a game just like he did against UGA in the SECC game. I'd take him in a heartbeat if for no other reason than his punt return skills.

And ya don't think TM will improve?? Ya don't think LSU will get him some help, if needed?

Pass Rush will be different

All you Bama people talking this shite will be disappointed......

You think losing 9-6 in OT is anything close to losing 21-0 and not crossing the 50 yard line but one time? Also Bama out gained LSU in the first game, but had a first year QB who made rookie mistakes when it counted. You can't seriously tell me you think the coaching performances in those two games is even remotely comparable.

Did Saban NOT make some bone-headed decisions in the first game?? Did he not make adjustments after this game?

And Bama did it but LSU can't? A decent QB will make our run game that much better.....you'll see in November.

This is literally my most sincere prediction....

LSU will win the WEST. I don't think we go undefeated, though. Maybe AU or ARK will sneak one form us. We will beat Bama though and will legitimately be the #1 in the west. We shouldn't have a problem beating anyone from the east (USCe will have already lost to us, as with UF). UT/UGA will lose in the SECCG.

Now, assuming ANY other team with a somewhat meaningful record goes undefeated, their will not be a rematch. (The same holds true if bama runs the table, and LSU is the top 1 loss, if there is anyone else undefeated, there will not be another rematch)

Honey Mustard wouldn't have been a starter last year at Alabama. HE would have rarely seen the field.

If you go back and watch the NC game he was completely owned by a backup, sophomore wide reciever who had not played all year. Owned!!!!

I don't see it. That D just lost 6 starters...more than half of the starting unit.

Plus they lost their best single player, and two guys nobody is talking about...the receivers Maze and Hanks.

Finally, the line does replace two starters. I don't see why everyone is gushing about it. Sure, Cyrus Kouandijo was highly touted. Let's see if he can handle KeKe Mingo coming off the edge on 3rd and long. My guess is he can't...not in his freshman year anyways.

Alabama doesn't have any proven WRs left. You're looking at Bell, White, and a bunch of guys without any PT.
