But you realize one of the guys counted, Saban missed on when recruiting him. That's my only gripe with the poster. Saban didn't even land Byrd at LSU

And you know what, Miles will go ahead and take credit for every single LSU player on that last from '05, '06, and '07. Saban may have recruited them, but Miles obviously developed them.

Byrd was a frickup, I totally agree. I hope someone got fired over the mistake.

Lafell took a visit to LSU 2 weeks after Saban left. I highly doubt he hadnt been recruiting him before he went to Miami.

Recruits are HS kids with the attention span of a squirrel. All they see is the name "Lafell" and "coached by Saban". They aren't going to research it. Deception is a helluva recruiting strategy fellas. Step your game up.

No matter how you spin it, the poster still comes across as misleading as Im sure Saban knows recruits arent going to be concerned with the fine print and are unlikely to verify whether Saban was even on campus at the same time as the drafted players he's claiming
But if this is what Bama has to do to get recruits then have at it
