Referees don’t drop easy passes like Bama did…would have been interesting had they made catches!
Congrats either way…it was time!

You guys won the title. Congrats. You will rightly celebrate for months, but we've kind of moved on to basketball/2022.

If anything the refs helped Bama out with Stetson's "fumble."

When you win the game, it's easy to say "yeah that was called fair and square," but we all know how much Georgia fans complained about Tyler simmons, a missed facemask, etc. in 2017. wondering if there are similar plays that Bama fans point to in this one.

I thought it was pretty fair

Officials miss things as a matter of course, but it's incompetence rather than picking a side and being "unfair". When Joe Namath ran a fourth down QB sneak against Texas in a de facto national championship bowl game, the refs said he did not score but newspapers the next day showed that he clearly did. Coach Bryant's comment was "If we had blocked the play correctly he would have been 2 yardss into the end zone and the call wouldn't be left to the refs." I doubt he really believed that but I've always thought that was the right atttitude to have after the game.

Blown calls and injuries are part of the game, no reason to complain after the fact.

Good game Geogia.

what an odd thread.

I was just interested, because I never saw much officiating chatter in this game, and usually there's at least some. Especially in such a big game.

I watched the game.

I did not see anything I thought was awful.

We were beaten. The Dogs earned the win. The hard part comes now. Will they be able to keep the momentum going when replacing players coaches after the big win. We will see. Ask Clemson how hard it is.
