Yes but then it isn't #1 vs #2 in the SECCG when that happens.

Bama and Texas would have been just as big as the NCG. It would be like playing for #2. Instead UT will destroy OSU and UA will do the same to Utah. They aren't Hawaii, but they aren't up to SEC play/talent either.
