I'm OK with the matchup, as long as they don't pull a "Georgia": After beating up a team in a bowl game that didn't really belong there (read: Hawaii/Sugar Bowl last year) - then start proclaiming that they are the "hottest" tream going into the next season, got screwed by the BCS, blah, blah, blah...

well they dont have much claim for hottest team in the country.

Won't be claiming that. The best team won Saturday night and Oklahoma is second. We will just have to see what next year brings us.

good i woulda felt bad. I tend to let emotion get in the way and when LSU struggles it aint pretty. I was pretty negative about everything but im feeling better now

peej how do they have a good shot? i like you but i just don't see it man. other than maybe you think bama comes out flat bc of the lose and bc they have utah.
i don't think utah can stop bama's power run game and no one can cover julio. Also saban should be able to get his team up for this one. his only bowl losses at LSU were to a very very good texas team with marcus randall as qb and then iowa which it was clear saban wasn't into the game and neither was our team and it took a blown coverage and call to beat us. I think bama spanks utah

I like the match-up. Florida should serve up a beatdown on the Sooners and Bama on the Utes. Then only will USC and the Pac-10 be left on our list of conferences to dominate.

Non-BCS Conferences - Check
Big East - Let's be serious.
Besides if Bama played and beat UT and UF beats OU, how could the writers still proclaim that the Big 12 is better than the SEC?

i guess i am the only person that dislikes bama enough to not feel sympathetic towards the fact that they should get an easy sugar bowl win.

The sugar bowl is quickly becoming the crappiest BCS bowl game. I see this year being a lot like last year with UA dominating the whole game.
At least the loser of the SECCG got it this year instead of #3. Bama vs Texas would have been a much better game and SEC/Big 12 is what everyone wanted to see all year long.

Utah shouldnt be allowed to play in the Sugar Bowl unless that have some real quality wins on that undefeated season.
Its another waste of a game like Hawai and UGA last year.
You couldnt pay me to watch that game. Hell the LSU/Georgia Tech game is shite too but more interesting than watching Utah vs anyone.

because the big 12 is not only better than the sec, but way better. Just hold on--your conference will be back, but they are not that good this season.
