What got Jalen better was his qb coach with the Eagles. Not Lincoln. Jalen is not anywhere close to the qb he was in college. His mechanics, footwork, keeping eyes downfield all changed in Philly. The Eagles coach, to his credit saw something in Jalen that Nick and Lincoln did not and took advantage.

Jalen was 2nd in the Heisman voting in 2019. I wouldn't say he ever sucked at all. He progressed rather nicely.

Jalen was the SEC Offensive Player of the Year as a true freshman in 2016, too.

Jalen got better because Jalen is one of the hardest working dudes on the planet. His trajectory as a passer started with Enos in 2018, continued with Riley in 2019 and now with the Eagles has taken off. He also benefited under Riley playing in a system that basically sets up all QBs for success - similar to what he did with Kiffin in 2016. I'm not sure he really "developed" as a passer all that much at Oklahoma, I just think he played in an offense that made it easy on him. And when it was easy on him (see his numbers from 2016), he generally had pretty big games. He struggled against good defenses in 2019 much like he did in 2016 and 2017.

The one year he just didn't develop at all was under DaBoll in 2017. DaBoll wanted Tua to play from day 1, but I'm not sure what the deal was with him and Jalen in terms of development. Because there was none at all.

but looking at it objectively his time at OU is what got him to the NFL and made him successful. He developed more in a year with Riley as an actual QB than he did his whole time at Bama.
nope. His year backing up tua under Enos is what turned him into a great passer. Look at him in relief of tua in 2018 vs his passing stats starting the previous 2 years. Night and day. He claims Bama more than Oklahoma, it's his alma mater and he played 3 seasons here to 1 at OK

No reasonable football fan would disagree with this statement

Dude took a shite and hung out in Norman, OK for a minute. He spent 90% of his college years in Tuscaloosa. His undergraduate degree says “University of Alabama.” He has national and SEC championship rings that say “University of Alabama.” He wears University of Alabama gear at Philly press conferences. He won SEC Offensive Player of the Year and SEC Freshman of the Year while playing at ALABAMA.

OU can kick rocks.

A Biden voter calling someone a "tard". That's rich.

I don't blame you. If I had been that stupid in the voting booth. I would also be ashamed to admit it.

I wasn't calling you a tard so much as I was simply observing that you are one.

But I didn't vote for the skeleton man if it makes that much of a difference to you.

I realize you're either trolling or a old dude with no clue about how the internet works, BTW.

You're a Bammer band wagon rider.

I have forgotten more about the Internet than you know, you stupid little twit. Your Internet knowledge consists of, "I made a funny on SEC Rant...huh huh".

Now hurry up on down to the Walmart. I hear they are having a big sale on Bama gear, just for big fans like you.

By the way, Hurts is Oklahoma. Deal with it, you insecure, inbred trailer park dwellers.

Have you forgotten it because you're so old and feeble?

I think a lot of people arguing that Riley didn't have a lot to do with his progression forget this.

Wait a minute. Hurts graduated from Alabama in three years and now has a Master's from Oklahoma while Stetson Bennett never has finished his undergrad degree in flyfishing or whatever Kirby stuck him in 2017 and that clown never graduated??? How embarrassing.
