What people fail to realize is that with the parity in today's CFB, doing what Bama has done in October is insanely good. Trying to diminish it just shows insecurities.

We can, and we do.

It was a bye month. You've played one good team so far this year. Don't take it personally, it's the Boise method.

Ole Miss, while not ranked, is probably a top 25 team.

I mean, let's not act like UGA and UF are world beaters. UT almost beat both of them, and did beat USCe. The entire East is so close this year.

But it isn't like it matters. Bama/LSU play each other, wanna know who the better team is, watch the game.

Exhibit A of insecurity at it's finest.

I'm not. Not all of us are homers.

You guys dominated a cream puff schedule, and others are insecure if they aren't impressed by it?

Please.

You're easily the most insecure gump poster. Even the other gumps know it.

Would it have been any less of a bye month if Georgia and Florida were on the schedule somehow? No. Alabama would have dominated both of those teams in the month of October and you'd still be saying we haven't played anyone.

And to be brutally honest, it's looking like November will be a bye month at least until the Iron Bowl. Because the fact of the matter is, the SEC is very top heavy this year and when you are as deep and as talented as Alabama is...any team outside the Top 15 is a cream puff.

All the questions surfaced about the O-Line early in the season, and the defense after the A&M game.

The O line was scary at first but it is looking VERY good right now. Our starting center getting hurt and the backup, Chad Lindsey, coming in is what seemed to be the turning point. The defense has just gotten better and better each game and even though we are young at CB and have been rotating young guys we have been performing very well.

This Alabama team has something different about it that seems to set it apart from all of the other teams but I just can put my finger on it.

All of this to compare Bama's defense to LSU's? Dude, everyone that's watched LSU play knows the defense is garbage this year.

To be fair, we kept hearing about how great LSU's OFFENSE is this year, and God forbid if anyone bring up how craptastic the opposing defenses had been. I saw people get crucified by LSU fans for daring to mention how bad those defenses were.

It's more than a little hypocritical for LSU fans to try and now discredit Alabama's defense when the same statements about their offense was met with hate. Two defenses with decent numbers pitched near shutouts against horribly outmatched teams (Auburn and Miss State), plus AU wasn't as good offensively as they are now.

UAB is 120, Kent State 94th, UGA 102, and Furman is FCS. Florida held you to 17 points (a great defense) despite their offense being horribly inept and literally giving the ball away to you. Or, better put regarding some of the rankings is the drop off - LSU is technically ranked 31st in scoring defense. Does anyone think their defense is that good?

Also, case in point:
Alabama is 13th in the nation in points scored. Higher than LSU in that category as well.

It was compared to what we've been used to seeing at LSU. This offense is fricking amazing compared to what we had to deal with the past 4 years.

Ok. No one is discrediting Bama's defense. However, y'all act like Bama has just been pushing top 10 teams around.

The offense was fine against UF and Ole Miss. The QB play is what fricked us. We moved the ball pretty much at will when we had to. Not to mention Miles' dumb arse benching Hill against Ole Miss. That was the difference in that game shitty defense aside.

Of course they are. No one is saying Bama isn't good this year. But you can't discount the schedule. It doesn't matter what the records of opponents are. UGA and UF surely beat up LSU way more than UK and UT did to Bama. That's just the way the SEC goes.
