No, just any sort of educated response. Your post before was nothing short of bullsit. Yes, Bama sucked that year, but to say the others didn't at least have a great deal of talent speaks volumes.

I mean, I can't promise that we will be playing for a NC like, next year, but given Saban's work ethic and talent in coaching and recruiting, I just think it will happen fairly soon.

They did have talent, but you can't really say it was the toughest schedule in the past decade.

Maybe I am wrong but part of me says there is so much luck involved that you cant ask for NC, but an sec champ in the next 3 yrs should be expected. The practical side says that at 4mil a yr 8-4 too many yrs damn sure wont cut it.

If you had asked me this when he was hired for 4mil a yr I would have said he damn well better but since at least 3 of the sec coaches make that much it is kinda hard to say that. Whereas Miles and Meyers have at least won a NC, I think Saban has earned this money considering the crap he took over that was Bama football.

Let me ask you this; do you believe 07 LSU would have defeated 08 FL? That was a great team that got hot mid way through the season and derailed our run. We played them a hell of a game but the better team won in the end. Not trying to take anything away from the LSU's championship but to win a championship most seasons you need a little bit of luck. LSU lost two games, needed a loosing team to upset WV and also got a break getting to play TN in the SEC championship game. When Bama made its run in 08 we played the best and lost to the best.
