I don't know what else Lacey needs to do to convince some people. He has dominated every time he has gotten a chance and works his arse off. Save one fumble in the San Jose State game where he took a shot where the defenders helmet hit right on the ball. Ingram would have fumbled there.

I agree. Saban wouldn't put him out there if he had ball security concerns.

I think Lacy fumbled the PSU game also. I also believe Saban did have concerns with his ball security. I think he would have played more otherwise.

I am a big Lacy fan though, and hope he holds onto the two spot and gets some quality carries this year.

Eddie, it's like this

not this

i worry more about michael williams fumbling than i do eddie. that dude carries the ball like a loaf of bread like he's michael vick in the pocket. He hasnt fumbled yet bet its only a matter of time

Dominate is some lofty language to toss around and definitely something I disagree with, although he did look good in the bowl game. He still runs to upright and lacks next level explosiveness imo. I hope he turns out to be a badass, but he is nothing more than an internet legend at this point, and I will not be the least bit surprised to see Dee Hart have the number two role all to himself by the Arkansas game.

He's big and slow. Great short yardage back. Probably about as talented as Charles Scott.. potential to be really productive.

I'll take Charles Scott as my number 2 back. I like Charles Scott
