How? They’re saying it’s a tough game, but there are factors like home field advantage and Bama having rough times in Baton Rouge. Add in some homerism and you get hopeful predictions. Everyone does that.

If you lose you have lost the West and any hope of a playoff. You are not playing with house money

Bama has a better winning percentage in Baton Rouge than LSU does

I know Bama has unparalleled success in Baton Rouge, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it a home field advantage for the Tide. Tiger Stadium is more like Bama's vacation home on 30A

lolol LSU only scored 19 points against State despite their defense serving up TDs. LSU fans will, like clockwork, be railing on the refs and calling for Os head after the game.

right unlike the only team in college football who can finish 2nd in their division of the conference and get in because you've done it TWICE

I wonder if there is a team out there so favored by the NCAA that they could lose 2 games and still be placed in the championship game over 1 loss teams?

Complete Myth

Alabama is 27-8 in Baton Rouge

LSU does better in away games vs Alabama

Away LSU is 9-12

So at home LSU wins only 23% of their games vs Alabama

Away LSU wins 43%

There is an old saying "The Tide doesn't lose in Batton Rouge"

This Bama team is one of the best ever. Don’t waste your enthusiasm. And LSU’s not “playing with house money”. Bama’s gonna put an end to your disillusions.
