Yeah, but this is Bama we are talking about.

Carter would have came to LSU or Arkansas.

Here come's the story of The Hurricane. The man the authorities came to blame...for something he never done, put in a prison cell, but one time could have been the champion of the world.

Bozella met his brother's murderer while locked up, he was serving time as well. Prisoners egged him on to beat the shite out of him. Dewey shook his hand and told him he forgave him. Told the prisoners to mind their own business, it was between he, the inmate, and God.

That was after he was found guilty for the second time, after a retrial.

I'm against reparations in general, but that guy should be compensated handsomely.

Gotcha. He really met his brother's murderer in prison? Forensic evidence set him free?

Yep, met his future wife while she was visiting someone too.

It's a series called "I didn't do it".

It's about ppl convicted for crimes they didn't commit. Most involve false eye witness accounts. He was black, victim was an elderly white lady. 2 eye witnesses lied about him being there.

He had no shot

Dewey Bozella was his name - you may find his story on ESPN or wiki... he was jailed for a murder he didn't commit and was offered a release several times if he would just confess and he refused every time. Pretty good story.

Thanks. I'll read up on him. I thought he was in jail for his brother's murder when you posted that he met his brother's murderer. Don't think I could restrain myself in that situation.
