Kirby was unmatchable before RPO's but didn't have a clue after that.
Pruitt was a great RPO DC. Wish we had him back.

Except when the RPO was run by Chad Kelly or Deshaun Watson. Both Kirby and Pruitt had trouble with those particular RPO QBs...

I'd take our '92 D as the best in school history. I saw every game that year 'cept for the game against the Div 1-AA team that wasn't televised where I lived; one of the few seasons where I felt more comfortable when the D was on the field than our O...

2011 was a great one as well, but we didn't play against any of the top offensive schools that year so they're harder for me to compare to others...

The '61 and '79 D's were pretty good. Wasn't around in '61; saw several of 79's games but the stats aren't as available for seasons that far back...

Not a Bama fan, just wanted to add this note. Pruitt was Jimbo's DC for the FSU championship.
