Yeah he's a great kid and Tua can learn a lot from him, especially being a stone cold mf'ker! Can't rattle him!

I doubt Jalen will be Peyton Manning next year, but I'd be shocked if he wasn't much much more advanced in the passing game. He's a smart kid and a workaholic, he'll be all over it this offseason.

Absolutely agree with the thinking too much. That has been his heel for the last 3 games. There's really no blame, Clemson was better that night. By one play. The guy has it, though. He's going to be a legit star.
Yep - he does. Love the way he plays, way he acts. I'd be shocked if he didn't improve his game management and passing next year.

For sure - love to have a bunch of highly regarded guys there. Push eachother, get better.

If you are that fricking stupid Gumps .... then, by all means ... do us all a favor and bench Hurts.
Completely foolish and irrational ... but, I guess, Gumps gonna Gump.

I'm hoping Hurts will be the starter for 4 years.

I don't see how Hurts gets beat out. He has some really valuable experience and I seriously doubt that he won't improve. He has all the intangibles. Barring injury I don't see how Tua wins the position. Props to Tua for stepping up to the challenge tho. Could go a lot of places and have a more likely path to starting quicker. I just think Hurts will be entrenched as a leader and he will improve under Sarkisian. If it does happen, we are all fooked

He had a better season passing and rushing than true freshman Lamar Jackson last year and that kid scored like 25 touchdowns in the first month of his sophomore season and won a heisman at Louisville
Lamar Jackson 2015: 1840 passing yards, 54.7% completion, 12/8 td/int, 126.8 rating, 960 rushing yards 11 rushing tds
Jalen Hurts 2016: 2780 passing yards, 62.8% completion, 23/9 td/int, 139.1 rating, 954 rushing yards 13 rushing tds
Let's see how much Hurts improves from year one to year two, when most qbs make their biggest jump.

You know what the Tua hype is? It's legit. But so is Jalen. Everybody wants to run down an eighteen year old for not going 15-0. He only went 14-1

Yep. I wish I had a graphic sitting around that showed the greatest QBs of all time in college and what their true freshman stats were (if they played as true freshmen).
There isn't a single one who had a great year, and we know that because Hurts finished in the Top 2-3 in almost every statistical measurement of a true freshman since they started playing QB. And we love Jalen, and he had a great year for a freshman, but he certainly wasn't perfect.

If you were a Clemson fan or your team had finally won something of value for a change, it'd be a lot different but instead you're all a bunch of low-life pond scum whose biggest win is the loss for a fanbase who has a lot of respect for your team. So, GFY too.

In discussing Hurts season he was talking about an actual victory over LSU in Death Valley by the true freshman.
You relating that actual victory to a "moral victory" is pretty comical given you are an LSU fan sporting a Clemson logo celebrating another team's big win. You probably don't see it, but just know that is why people are laughing at you.
