He is that good. Much better passer and can scoot. You got yourself a real good one coming. You offense will then include a legit downfield passing attack. Will be hard to defend....

I hope so...I haven't been this excited about a QB in a long time!

People act like Bama hasn't been able to sign 5 star QBs or something.

Maybe, but logic would tell me that Hurts probably is going to improve, which makes me believe it will be an extraordinary effort for Tua to start a game in 2017 barring injury to Hurts.

I don't get the Hurts hate.

At points during the season ... his name was being mentioned for Heisman consideration ... as a true FR.

It could easily be argued that without Hurts ... Bama doesn't even make the CFP, etc.

And, after Clemson's first lead ... it was Hurts' spectacular run that damn near put the game away for Alabama.

AND ... if Bama would have won ... no one would be saying this shite.

Hopefully

I have heard his Elite 11 evaluation was one of the 4 best ever.

Maybe so. If we beat L6U with Hurts, how much more we'll beat L6U now. At least according to you.

It's a vocal minority. Most believe Hurts did better than fine for a true freshman and expect him to develop as a passer and probably be a 4 year starter. He turned 18 not long ago and is a raw passer but I don't see why he can't progress as most young QBs do.

The one's taking shots at Hurts the most are the ones who were the most butt-hurt about getting beat by him.

Tua, like Hurts, will benefit greatly from being an EE.

The reality is a lot of Alabama fans are completely spoiled and totally irrational. They want a true freshman to be a finished product. They want him to be able to do things that most true freshmen don't do or aren't ever asked to do. It's pretty absurd.

Furthermore, some seem to believe that he will not improve from what he is. Once he can spend an offseason tackling the mental game, I think he's going to improve leaps and bounds. I've started to think I'm in the minority, though.

Do people really not realize that Bama rolled the dice with a true freshman and was one play from 15-0 and repeating?

JMO ... but Hurts seems like a really good kid.

Not a show-boating, dumb-arse punk like a lot of players.

The backup QB is always the most loved player on the roster.

He is. And he will get better. Even better than SEC offensive player of the year. Unfortunately, even some Bama tards don't get this.
