It's a little of both. Bama fans are generally the one who the group of ladies look at and say that he's "special" or "bless his heart". It's that strange brew of illogical thinking laced with erratic behavior that is a product of in-breeding.

Georgia and Alabama's schedules and results are very, very similar. No separation there.

I would give a SLIGHT edge to UGA. Bama's only claim to fame is Clemson and they are over ranked at the bottom of the Top 25.

Well,as it turns out Clemson was overrated to start the season. But to Alabama's credit ,the reason they (Clemson)were considered overrated is because Alabama just destroyed them. The physical nature of the way Alabama dominated was extremly impressive. The Tide held up its end of the bargain,Clemson didn't.

With that said, too much was made of Southern Cal's win over Virginia and the points Georgia Southern scored vs Georgia.I saw some of that Georgia game while watching our Appy State game at some sports bar.GSU is a good, solid 1-AA program and Georgia crushed them.GSU got a couple of scores late.

Don't try to logically refute the assertions. HUGE waste of time. Clemson is "obviously overrated" BECAUSE they lost to Bama. Ohio State is obviously overrated because the lost to USC. USC is obviously overrated because they lost to Oregon State.

You have to set aside the arguments we heard so many times about parity in college football, and how the game has changed since Bear coached thanks to scholarship limits, etc? We rarely see that same logic applied to other teams.

it's really too early to make a case for either arguement. i so tire of the "over-rated" discussions.

That dog don't hunt.Your 'Bama brethren have been saying all week how overrated Auburn was after LSU's win Saturday.

I have said no such thing and haven't seen many posts to that effect. I still consider Auburn a very strong team because they played well against a highly ranked team.

Now on the other hand if or when Bama loses to UGA this weekend who is ranked higher than LSU has been. How "crappy" will Bama be for losing to an "overrated" UGA team? The double standards on this board are absurd.

Not talking about you, sir. And,I quantified my comments regarding the reason I feel Clemson is overrated,at least as top ten.

I-59......as usual your arguments and posts are on point and respectful.

My point is, be it this weekend or later down the road as soon as Bama drops a game the LSU, and Auburn fans will come out of the woodwork talking about how we are "back in the gutter" and how LSU would smoke whatever team we lost to.

Everyone's overrated.

Now let's see which overrated team is left standing at the end of this season. One thing I know for a fact is that a betting man could take a lot of money from Bama fans right now.

Every Alabama board thinks Les Miles is an idiot when he is 37-6, has beaten 6 top 10 teams in a row, and has a NC and an SEC title in three years. Spare us on needing to get respect on an LSU board.
Alabama came out of the gates fast last year too with an easy early season schedule. Lets see how Bama finishes. Your season will be defined by games with UGA, UT, LSU and Auburn.

And if Alabama loses to UGA in a close good game, you will get plenty of props.
