Losing the SEC Champioship game in 2021 still stings your vagina like this?

They celebrated taking out LSU’s key playmaker but complain at length about john metchie like they had to put 10 on the field after him

I remember UGA saying how many guys they had out due to injury in the SEC title game as their reason for being completely blown out.

Everyone knows injuries and bad officiating only count if they're against Alabama.

I mean, if you’re attempting to compare a game that we were winning when our best offensive player went down, to a game where LSU was losing by two touchdowns in the 4th quarter , I guess have fun.

When Bama was reigning back to back champions, I don’t remember giving a shite about the excuses other teams made bad enough to start threads about it two years later.

Except LSU didn't blow us out a month prior with two of their best players (for the second time in a year) then strangely struggle to find the endzone in the rematch (starting a green WR who had only been targeted three times that season in one of their places), yet still hold a slight lead in the 4th without them. Imagine thinking Metchie and Williams wouldn't have made a difference in that game.

But sure, nice false equivalency melt. Your first win over Bama since the Bush era was courtesy of key injuries. Not a good look for UGA.

My favorite part was when they insisted Tua was on one leg yet he's out there running around all over the field.

UGA is the queen of excuses:

-If not for that slow first half start we beat Bama (2008).

-Literally, we were the better team and lost on a stupid play. 5 more seconds and we win (2012 SECCG).

-We didn't prepare for Tua.

-We didn't prepare for Hurts.

-Lol 2020 was a covid year and Bama's win over us doesn't count.

-Texas only beat us because of injuries and opt outs.

Edit: And how could I forget, "the refs". That was the best melt yet. "They let Yeldon get a jump start on offense that wasn't called on a critical touchdown".

So what about UGA's right tackle getting a head start in that same game on UGA's first touchdown play? Literally, the exaxt same fricking thing.
And yet, *crickets*

Imagine if they blew Bama out, lost two of their three best players and proceeded to lose the rematch after holding a lead in the 4th despite struggling to find the endzone knowing said two players would have made that a totally different game. Georgia fans would have made sure that win was stripped from the history books.
