we all have gotten the point that we have bandwaggon fans that leave early we knew that before the troy game and we accept that...that is the last time this will be stated...if i need to translate into redneck terms for you gumps let me know

Our fans got worse this year to me. I think this happens after you win 2 BCS Championships in 5 years. The first one, we were still excited and knew it was tough. After the second one, our fans think we should win it every year. Of course we were spoiled with LSU baseball throughout the 90's so I don't totally blame them for thinking this.
ETA I talked to a Bama fan the other day. For some reason he got all defensive. So, I asked who their quaterback was going to be next year and he couldn't name one.

i agree...you cant imagine the people that came up to me at work and stuff at the first of the year so excited to talk lsu football now they all just ask if im going to the game this weekend and how many heartbreaks are left for the year...i for one think it could have been a lot worse so far...

That's the point silly. Bama was in the game and had people leaving in droves... I saw it too. We were getting drilled by TROY after the tough loss to you... it was ugly at the time. I'm not taking up for the ones who leave, but our exodus makes more sense when you think about it. There might have been four people left in Bryant Denny if you were getting waxed by TROY 31-3 and you know it.

We'll just have to disagree here, because I was there to the bitter end and there is no comparison to the two fanbases and how each handled the situation. I couldn't care less if LSU fans wanted to leave. Just don't try and make yourselves feel better by claiming we do the same.
