If you really believe in your 42-10, 48-16, 50-10 then ban bet it (2 weeks) with the spread (-30) or is your prediction false bravado?

Think there was only Texas AM fans take the bama -20 before it was whacked. I get the fear of a year ban in that one. We all enjoy coming on this board, so only 2 weeks.

I can see it going bama's way, but I'm going to go with the history of this game in DV and it being tighter than most think. It will take 30 to win this game for LSU. I'm leaning to a great game as usual with it going to over time 31-31 (LSU gets TO to bring it to OT), with it being 37-34 LSU.

What? The point spreads are very rarely exactly on, but they generally provide a good indication of the expected outcome. If they're done right, teams will generally be 50/50 ATS. LSU and Bama are both 5-3 ATS. Statistically speaking, a 10-point LSU win is just as likely as a 40-point Bama win given a 15-point spread.

There have been plenty of predictions of bama by 30+
I'm laying out a ban on those predictions, 2 week ban. Just wondering who really is going to stand by that prediction.

Okay, let me see if I can put it this way. This season Vegas had the expected outcome that LSU would win 5 games and lose 3. LSU won all three games they were expected to lose and dropped a game that Vegas expected LSU would win. Although LSU is 5 and 3 ATS, Vegas was wrong in picking the winner 50% of the time. So, Vegas can be wrong. That's all I am saying.

I predicted 52-9. If LSU keeps it closer or wins I'll give them credit for it. No doubt LSU is the best defense we've played against and the best team we've played against this year, and that score would be better than previous.

But it seems to me like whenever people like to make a big stink before big games against Alabama, it ends up being a score like that. And with all the LSU fans blaming Alabama for their frick ups and shite, this game has given me one of those feelings. So I think there is a good chance Alabama comes out playing it's A game and I think LSU fans have done a good job of making sure it happens.

So I took what I thought to be best case outcome as my prediction.

I took the -20 year ban bet.
