The problem with what Harris said is that he and Ingram both used the wrong measuring scale. Ingram has BCS notions and that a team should be a national championship contender. And Harris has that same basic mentality even with the 4 team playoffs.
But in the 12th team playoff the bar is way fricking lower. Now you just have to be a top10 team. So what they said is true in terms of Alabama being a team who would have a claim on the NC before the post season, but wrong in terms of Alabama being a top10 team. If you had asked either of them if Alabama was a top10 team, they likely would have said yes.

You don't think 2018 LSU squeaks in? They had like the #4 SOR and were #6 in FEI.

I figure 3 regular season losses is pretty much the barrier right now, and you were ranked #11.
Basically in the same spot Alabama was in last year when they got left out.
