Yeah I was in the MDB when we went. Even with out police escourt it still took FOREVER to get out of there. By the time we got back to our hotel it was almost time for ESPN to show the late night replay of the game (2am Central time or so).

Where did yall stay?

Does the extra cost to stay in Pasadena near the stadium outweigh staying at other hotels in the area that would allow for more "touristing"? I have a lot of people asking me my opinion..but just don't know

Closest Waffle House appears to be Goodyear, AZ.

Really?!?

Dallas didn't have the foresight to allow him to do this and allow it to rebuild a blighted area???

That's insane to me.

The Los Angeles area has two old stadiums...Rose Bowl and The Coliseum.

With no NFL football team to build around and a smaller appetite for publicly financed stadium deals.

Takes forever to get to your seat. I never went to piss so I'm not sure about the bathrooms. I thought the seats were good. The lighting wasn't all that great.

....with that said, the atmosphere was incredible for me personally. Just being in the Rose Bowl was cool for me, and if you can appreciate that, and not be a snob about the little things, you'll have a blast.

Setting, weather, history all awesome.
Parking, stadium, facilities, surrounding area awful.

Stay in touristy area, drive in early so you can park on the golf course and just be prepared for a long day...
Spend the rest of your trip doing cool LA stuff...not around the stadium...this is not a college town and there will be no area where fans congregate...
