LSU hasn't won anything in 6 years, unless you wanna beat your chest about winning an SEC Title.

Agree. Why do LSU fans keep putting themselves in with Alabama and Auburn. The last 6 years, they have nothing

Oh yeah, I see...LSU has been close over the last few years. I had forgotten that being close is what football teams strive for.

When LSU starts winning multiple NCs, pulling in #1 recruiting classes for 4 or 5 straight years, and is in the middle of their dynasty run, the you can put LSU in Bama's class.

This isn't upward league we are talking about. Close doesn't freaking count.

We gonna be fine. Lose two games the most, more likely we only lose one though

I think it all comes down to our new QB.

I have no idea who he may be, but if he is decent we get into the playoff's with maybe one loss.

If he's great, we win it all.

Who do you think will be our starting QB next year? Sims? Or someone else?

LSU and Bama?

I mean LSU is consistently really good, but this is a Bama run.

LSU last won an NC in 2007. That team had 2 losses. Bama has won 3 of the last 4 NCs. Those 3 teams had 2 losses combined.

There has been no team that has played Bama to the wire every year like LSU on this "historical " Bama run. LSU won the SEC in 2011 and steam rolled all but one team (Bama) but beat them in Alabama. In 2009 Bama's undefeated season, LSU was a Patrick Peterson missed call and injury (Julio Jones big TD)from knocking them out of contention. In 2012 LSU was one first down from winning the SEC West instead of Bama and knocking them out of contention. As great of a run that Bama is on, LSU is literally one half step behind. Although I understand Alabama fans want to bask in the glory of their victories, they have been extremely lucky to sit in that position over LSU the past 2 seasons. We as LSU fans don't need the fans of shite tier SEC schools (Arkansas) to validate what we've done, we know what has happened recently.

Again - I am saying the margin of difference is razor thin. That takes both LSU and Bama having an unreal run.

Because some I dont think read the thread.

2011 - Bama almost not in Natty LSU wins at Bama to make it 2 in a row. Bama fans I assume were relieved to hear the BCS gave them a rematch. If the BCS said OSU. Then LSU would have had Crystal.

Bama won and earned the title 100%. I am saying it was a butthair or it Was LSU OSU.

2012 - Would be playing for 3 in a row for LSU had the above occurred. LSU had Bama where they want them. Night game, backed up in Death Valley - it seemed LSU had it. Again - I am sure Bama fans breathed a huge sigh of relief when TJ scored.
LSU makes 1 play and its 3 in a row for LSU - and LSU gets the honor of stomping Notre Dame.

But - Bama made an incredible drive. The kind that make legends. Bama earned it. and deserved it.

All I am saying is it was a coin flip for years between these teams and to keep reloading to that degree for so long is unheard of. Both teams should be proud.

Plus I count the SEC Championship as the Natty. So LSU won it in 2011 anyway on my wall.

Guys its a compliment to both teams. To Bama guys trying to talk shite - there is no shite to talk. Your team has been praised - its ok to respect your opponent . Without LSU you wouldn't have those bad arse games. Just routes.
