Serious question, what statement? Did I miss something?

The press release from bama said they were "aware of some of the allegations"

not sure about all this but if the original article had anything substantive on ED then they would have included him in the 5 that they singled out, including the one UT who is still on the team

Will all of the news surrounding Alabama right now, it seems like a good move at first thought. However, I don't see it happening. EdStinson played in the first game, and Alabama knew the same amount exact of shite going on then as they do now, I would assume. He will play against Texas A&M Saturday afternoon, IMO.

Good shrimp. I highly recommend a visit if you are ever down that way.

In all seriousness, it looks worse than it really is, IMO. Bama has shown if they know a player has received something from an agent (Smith, Dareus) then they will sit the player. They will show/are showing the NCAA that they've done all they can to educate and try to prevent such things. No lack of institutional control. No failure to monitor.

Possible vacation. Possible, though less likely, probation. No post season ban. No scholarship reductions. That's the most honest prediction I can give based on what we know today (obviously could change if more comes out). Any fan who thinks it is going to be more is either not knowledgeable about this type of thing, wishful thinking, or both.

They have multiple locations including one in Auburn on College near the Walmart by the Interstate.

I also agree with the rest of your post.

agreed, been saying all along, worst that would happen would be vacation, probation, more education, which mean nothing going forward. and olnly hurts the past. even the NC though needs to be voted on to vacate by the conference presidents, which is independent of the NCAA investigation

FIFY

I dont think the NCAA will be able to get anything, unless they finally sack up. but to say the worst to happen is nothing, is just trolling

Disagree. The worst that will happen: nothing ever happens and no public closure is given so lunatic ITATers (looking at you Allin2010) will continue to propagate nonsense about pending death penalty, the demolition of the University itself, and revocation of all degrees of alumni across the world.

You're going to be dealing with that shite even if the NCAA gives you a medal for compliance. Just ask us.

No. Not seriously anyway. I was just messing around. Although the pattern on these stories is remarkably similar. Rival fans almost always magnify story's impact while fan base most impacted seeks to minimize. Eventually, all get on same page (either trouble coming or nothing happening). We're not all on that same page yet.

I hear ya. I've been around this site since before Nov 2010, so I know some of our fans have been just as bad toward you guys as some of your fans have been here...actually, some bama fans were worse during the Cam thing.
