You see, the problem is that you said circa at all. Please try to understand these words don’t mean the same thing. You seem to want to die on this hill. Doubling down on a mistake is just another mistake.

Oh wise one. You got me.

Let’s talk about Bama football, shall we?

Can we start somewhere around 2007? Or circa 2025?

Start at the very beginning so you can discuss all fifty-seven of LSU's losses to Bama in detail.

This isn’t about LSU. Why are you guys trying to deflect from the topic of this thread?

It’s amazing to watch. Sad. But still amazing.

Do you even realize what you are saying? At least think it out before posting.

Yeah let me spell it out for you.

NIL has leveled the playing field and killed the machine at Bama.

So unfortunate

Their cognitive dissonance is very strong. They are still going to bed tonight believing they can go undefeated OR one more loss and make the playoffs.

AND if they are anywhere near it come November you can bet your hard earned dollar that FSU will all of a sudden be one of the best teams in the country.

Possible Nick Saban communicating that same thing that on national television a time or two, as well.

The problem with most Gumps on this board is that they’re not old enough to remember anything pre-Saban.

Don’t be sad. You will always have the memories of all those LSU losses to Alabama in Tiger stadium to reminisce on.

So you explain why Alabama tends to win more NC than anybody else.
Why Alabama has had 5 NC winning coaches with 4 winning multiple titles.
Alabama has had a few bad years, but when that happens it manages to get one of the top coaches.

You are wrong as the evidence is clear, Alabama is indeed a different place. All you are doing is wish dreaming.

Alabama WAS a different place, back when being a blue blood actually gave you an advantage.

That's no longer the case.

In some cases, Alabama fans have been like sheltered children. The excuses about NCAA sanctions and then Nick Saban protected them from the realities of modern college football.

Now they're experiencing the same realities that the rest of us have known about for years.

Why are you posting so late? You finally getting home from your double at Applebee’s?

This is a thread about the fall of the Bama dynasty. Not about LSU’s rise.

I agree. The fan base doesn't tolerate mediocrity. The trick is finding a coach like Bryant or Saban and making the deal behind the curtain.
