Was it auburn or Ole Miss that gets away with linemen down the field?

Both. I don't have a picture of the play in the Alabama vs Auburn game in 2013, but I have this.....

We're still sitting at #126 out of 128 in opponent's penalties, 14th in the SEC.

#32 with our own penalties, 5th in the SEC.

REC needs to step it up.

The personal foul call out of bounds with our TE was bull. The only personal foul was Bama guy blatantly hitting our guy in the field of play. That would have set us up inside the 30. Horrible call... the hit on Hurts was questionable too.

You'd probably be the one whining today had the LSU game been called fairly

That game could've been 12 quarters long and LSU still wouldn't score

Right now plays that go Bammer's way when they should not - and the BLATANT bad call against Vandy last Saturday on Auburn's behalf are a shadow on the idea that the SEC is the premier conference.

I heard many LSU fans after the game saying the same thing. I don't think the refs won the game for Bama. I do think they stole the momentum away from LSU though.

The target against our defenseless QB was inexcusable.

ETA it won't stop until the gate loses money. People stop going to the game and something will happen

History will show that the flip of Rueben Foster to Auburn will go down as the single-most important event in changing the perception of the little/big brother roles in college football in the state of Alabama. Mainly because of what this manchild beast will do inside Jordan-Hare Stadium and the publicity that has surrounded the flip (press conference, tattoo, etc.). Not to mention the laundry list of fellow defensive recruits that are salivating at a chance to play with this wrecking ball on the field. This guy's magnetism and mentality are no different that Cam's. Both are once in a generation players and we'll have had them in Orange in Blue in a span of four years. I've never seen a time in which truly informed Alabama fans, not the toothleess Wal-Mart Muldykes, have been in such anxiety and agony over the direction of the Auburn Football program. I love every second of it, and they see what's happening and can't do anything about it. When you treat your players as family members and they play for you out of respect and admiration, things like 28-27 happen. When you have players that fear their coach, see rampant gray-shirting, bogus medical departures and wonder if they will have their scholarship the following year, things like a 24-0 complete meltdown implosion against your hated rival happen. It all starts at the top and CGC will go down as a legendary coach in college football history, not just Auburn history, Book It. I tell all of the Bammers without hesitation that CGC will win more national championships at Auburn than Satan will at UTea. If you hook me up to a polygraph while saying it, I would pass because that's how much I believe it to be true. The perception of Auburn Football in-state and on a national level is changing. September 1st is about to open the country's eyes as to what tenacious Auburn football is all about, and I can't wait to watch the look on little dabo's face. These are great times to be an Auburn Tiger. A dynasty is in the making, and if you don't see it, you don't have a clue. War Damn Chizik and War Damn Eagle.

I grew up in the Birmingham area and have no idea where the SEC offices are located. I think it is a myth.

I'm tired of this shite. Every single week it's a different opponent and the same story. The officials "miss" a blatant hold, targeting, or pass interference by bama at a critical point in the game or call a completely unjustified penalty against their opponent. It's comical at this point.

If the other SEC ADs and HCs were smart enough they would bring the complaint as well as the overwhelming video evidence AS A GROUP to the SEC office in Birmingham and threaten to go public with the allegations.. again AS A GROUP. The ensuing media firestorm might be the only way the bias stops.

Alabama is a great team and would still have a stellar record (Maybe not undefeated) even with out the officials' help. With it, we might as well not even play the game and just give them the damn trophy.

BTW - Here's a reminder of the holding by UA's offensive line last year against Auburn in the Iron bowl. I'm expecting a lot more of this later this month.

ot one bama fan with a logical explanation of why this seems to happen every week.

The logical explanation is that the refs aren't the biased ones, you are. You have some kind of vested interest and it is you who isn't impartial. Holding could be called on every single play, it is a judgement call. You, being the biased one are looking for penalties against a certain team you wish to lose. The stats say Bama was penalized twice as much as LSU.The stats say Bama is among the teams that don't get many calls. For every call you say goed Bama's way, I can show you one that didn't. There is no Bama privilege, this is your head. Making up conspiracies in your head, bitching and whining is not going to help beat Bama. I suggest better recruiting, better game plans, but the first step is to recognize that Bama is simply better right now, and it is your perception that is at fault. It is your team's fault when they lose to Bama. This is the logic you asked for, but you will reject it with your self manipulated mind. Back in the day we had a simpler term for it. Sore loser.
