Yes. and your win vs. LSU was bigger than Notre Dame win. By a mile. and as LSU's win at Bama should have likewise been.
and you still seem confused about A&M being ok with that being our biggest win. It is starting to bother you that we are ok with this.

2011 was much like 2012 and many other Bama LSU matchups. The game is basically to get the nod to Maul someone in the Natty.
It didn't work out for LSU in 2011 but that isn't my point. My point is that the Conference game can certainly be bigger than post season. In the SEC especially.
LSU or Bama would have rolled OSU in 2011.
LSU or Bama would have rolled Notre Dame.
The conference matchup was a bigger deal than ND and would have been bigger than a 42-7 route of OSU by Bama or LSU in 2011 (had they been given nod). Now because LSU played Bama again - obviously that was HUGE. But had OSUgot the nod and LSU rolled them I would looking back saying the win at Bama was bigger than beating OSU.
Just as I would think (I could be wrong) that Bama fans look back at the win at Death Valley and that last drive as a bigger win than ND. That drive is a spike in my football heart permanently as an LSU fan - and it added another great story for Bama fans. The ND was a dog and pony show.
By that same Token - yes, a Conference game is HUGE to A&M - as it not only was at Bama but Bama had the Natty riding on it. It was a huge win. and I would imagive even though you won it all that GL stand by A&M leaves a little of a spike - just as it gave A&M some lore.
