Whether they were overrated or not is irrelevant. You don't schedule the games with the foreknowledge that the teams won't live up to their billing. The LSU fanbase is the whiniest bunch of little girls I have ever encountered in any area of life. Jesus Christ, go read a book or something.
I know. I get embarrassed for the good LSU fans every time I read this crazy crap.

Yeah you're right LSU didn't just play Oregon , UWV , and Washington. And about to play tcu. Playing a shite Mich team
Doesn't make up for playing 2 of the top 6 SEC teams. Come on.
Please tell me you aren't trying to say Washington was a big game.

WHY does LSU have to have a dick measuring contest with Alabama over ANYTHING literally any fricking thing. Who's state has more trailers??? LOL you guys don't have a live mascot????? Your schedule is weak????? Our state has so much more culture than yours???? We eat gumbo and corndogs only, lol Alabama is poor.....YOU frickERS ARE A SAD JEALOUS GROUP. GTFO.

During the normal knock down, drag out skull crushing contest that is also known as the Bama-LSU game, I never find myself checking the Tiger's stats against whatever scrub team they played in week three. Why is this an issue?
If you are LSU beat Bama.
If you're Bama beat LSU.
That's it.
If you are LSU beat Bama.
If you're Bama beat LSU.
That's it.

Not to them...because everything Alabama does, LSU does it quite a bit better. They're obviously the standard of CFB and Alabama needs to strive to be like LSU...DUHH

I don't give a shite who alabama plays im not gonna sit here and cry about it. As long as we beat their arse and run the table next year who gives a shite im not gonna cry about our schedule if u want to be the best u got to beat the best.

If a team ONLY thinks about Alabama, that team will turn into Auburn. Take a hard look at those guys. Check yo self before you wreck yo self.

LSU and bama conference schedule almost identical.
SERIOUSLY?? SERIOUSLY???
Did bama play the COCKS??? How bout the GATORS???
No you played mizzou and the vols.
LSU eastern opponents were a combined 13-3 in conference and bama's were 3-13. I can see where you think that is about equal. In fact bama's conference opponents went a SEC worst 24-40 in SEC games. Tigers SEC foes were 35-29 in conference action.
They were the Big East and Orange bowl champions. They BEAT the crap out of clemson in Orange bowl. Eers just scored another TD. LSU also beat '11 PAC and Rose bowl champion Oregon ducks last year.
Again when was the last time tide beat a conference champion in OOC regular season game?
You make it sound like '09 was oh sooooo many decades ago. Gators finished 11-1 this year correct? They had a more difficult schedule than bama. Go figure.

You are correct sir. In '03 and '07 those were indeed LSU's toughest OOC opponents. That '07 VT team did win their conference and play in a BCS bowl.
Now on to bama's toughest OOC opponents for their last two championship seasons.
'09 - That would be Frank Beamer and VT also. Thing is their bowl was in atlanta. No BCS bowls played there, right?
'11 - I guess that would have to a Penn State team that finished the season amongst the UNRANKED.
So in summary we both played a BCS conference opponent that finished unranked and VT. Thing is in '07 VT won their conference and finished higher ranked than in '09.

Changing your comments I see. You first stated that since saban started at bama they have ALWAYS played a tough opponent to start the season.

As long as the person in charge of SEC schedules is a Bama grad, it will remain lop-sided. There is no comparing UT to Florida or UK to Georgia. That being said, if we simply put them away this year it wouldn't matter. Oh yeah, that"s right, we DID that last year and they got a second shot!

Don't you think end of year ranking is a better indicator of how good an OOC opponent actually was?
'08 #9 clemson finished unranked
'09 #7 VT finished #10
'10 #18 Penn St finished unranked
'11 #23 Penn St finished unranked
'12 #8 Michigan is ranked #19 heading into it's bowl. Could finished unranked also if it loses its bowl.
Going in those were all thought to be quality national opponents. When it was all said and done most of them really weren't.
In the last six years LSU has played and beat three BCS OOC opponents that won their conference and played in BCS bowls. Two of the three won their bowl game. They also played a couple more that were ranked at time of the game but fell out of the rankings as the season wore on.
Now for about the fourth time. Could some bama fan answer this question? It shouldn't be that difficult considering all those high ranked OOC teams the tide plays every year. When and who was the last majoe college conference champion bama beat in the regular season?

Not sure why LSU is so jealous. Their OOC schedule is shite too.
08/31 - TCU (at Arlington, TX)
09/07 - UAB
09/14 - Kent State
10/26 - Furman
