You must of missed the part when I said I wasn't ignoring January. January happened and I'm not denying it. I just said if Les pulls a W out this November against the Tide, it will be his 3rd season in a row in which he has done so. Nothing more.

You can call us "asterick buddies" or whatever, but I believe Alabama deserved to be in the national championship game. They were the 2nd best team in the nation leading up to that game and proved they were without a doubt the best team in the country last year.

Now I don't know if it rustles you guys' jimmies when I say Les has a chance to win against Saban 3 years in a row, but if anything, you should take it as a compliment. Winning against UA and Saban 3 consecutive season during a period in which they are elite is something to be pretty proud of. But if it really bothers you guys that much, I'll be sure not to say it again.

Butthurt as frick that we don't care about you as much as Aubie? Since the dawn of time who has more players in the NFL, more All-Americans, more NC, more SEC titles, and more wins? You can't just say "This isn't the 70s." and discount our best era and then go and count your best era.

Damn ranter.

If ifs and buts where candy and nuts, we'd all have a merry Christmas. Fact is, we lost on 11/5. I know this, I was in the stadium. Another fact, we dominated on 1/9, I was in the stadium.

I disagree with Rick's assertion that the LSU is the best in the nation. However, I also don't think the gap between Alabama and LSU's lines (on either side) are as big as fans from each base would like to believe. It will be an intense game in Death Valley this year. I think the focus Saban puts on players mental strength will be the deciding factor in what will be the biggest game of the 2012 regular season.

You've also had Nick Saban and Les Miles as your coaches during that time. We had Mike Dubose, Dennis Franchone (sp), Mike Price, Mike Shula, and Nick Saban. Coaching makes a huge difference. If Nick stays here till he retires (and I think he will), Alabama will probably surpass LSU in the categories you just mentioned

Really? So now you're discounting LSU out rushing Bama because of the play it was gained on.

I wasn't discounting their yards, I was saying your claim of the yards proving the superiority of the LSU o-line would be a logical fallacy based on the plays that a majority of the yards were gained on. That is in no way diminishing the rushing yards statistics, like you've done with our yards vs. GSU, but rather pointing a flaw in your logic used to build your assertion of LSU's better o-line

Every state beside Bama and Alaska thought Osu deserved to be in the game. Sorry it's a fact. I can post the sports nation poll if you like

Do you know how many people even vote in those things? Like 2% of the CFB Fanbase if I had to guess. You do realize that most of them thought "Lol Bama gumps derp OK State." when they voted, right? Anyone who uses the eye test could tell Bama was the better team, and get this : The BEST TEAM IN THE MOTHER frickING COUNTRY deserves to play for the Title. Damn you're dense or a troll. If the latter, keep going this is fun.

Which is why they beat every team in their division, and if you count the end of regulation of both games Bama beat LSU 27-6? (You can't say 27-9 because if the score was 27-6 you wouldn't have OT.)

LSU would have been BCS Champs ANY other year. 2001, 1995. I don't care. LSU would've done it. The fact is beating someone 9-6 in OT doesn't make you better. Beating someone 21-0 in the National Title Game does.

Why would I care that you don't care about us. Bama has one sec title this and last decade. You're beneath us. No on outside your state respects your title.

Yes I'm the only one whom thought LSU deserved to play in the title game. You see the states in red thought Bama should play in the game.

Too bad that poll works like an electoral college and the votes of the people in the blue states that thought Alabama should be in the game are not represented. But thanks for playing.

We did not win our division or conference. We won the rest of our games. There were a few teams with 1 loss and a couple with 2 losses. We had the best loss. We were matched up with LSU in a game to see who would be awarded the national championship. We won, we got the crystal, y'all got some SEC championship rings.

Don't be mad at Alabama, the system is what put us in the rematch. You had a chance at college football immortality with the undeniably greatest season ever, and if the game would have been close, you probably would still have been in the "Greatest Team Ever" debate. Unfortunately though, the game was a blowout and your team was physically dominated for sixty minutes. Alabama walked away covered in confetti, and now you're hungry for revenge. That's what happened, and that's the way it is.

Does that make you sleep at night? Bama will always be better than LSU. Even when LSU wins the analysts will still suck our dick and say we're the better team. Because. We're. Bama.

We've got 14 National Titles.

You've got 3.

We've got 26 Conference Titles (22 SEC).

You've got 14.

Our all-time record is : 814-320-43 (71%)

Your all-time record si : 735-390-47 (65%)

Yeah, you're beneath us.

Rain check on this little back and forth. I like the effort, one of the better arguments I've seen on the Rant. I'm having fun, but I've gotta go for now Rick.

So you're saying if you beat a team by 3 that it doesn't make you better? Or the fact that you beat them by 3 in OT?

I'm not mad at Alabama. I respect their tradition and that they carried the sec for many years. The only problem I have is with the backwards arse sidewalk fans that act like Bama is head and shoulders better than every program. Which they aren't. The same fans thy make excuse after excuse when they lose and are basically ignorant. Also, never in the history of the bcs has who you lost to count more than who you beat. Never. LSU and Bama are on the same level. To think otherwise is ignorant.

Maybe, I'd have to look it up. However, timing of the loss has meant a lot in the BCS. Alabama had the earliest loss of the one loss teams, therefore they rose back up as the other teams fell off and made the game. So any arguing that OK State deserved it more needs to stop.
