Right, right. Biggest homer. Right, gotcha. I totally agree. I state valid points as to why my team can win it all, and you shout "GEAUX TIGAHS 9-6, WE DON'T LOSE IN TS!"

They didn't target shite. I've seen the all 22 from jan9th. TM gave up 4 passes. But go ahead and keep Being ignorant. TM7 was not targeted.

Anyone who thinks LSU or Bama will have much of a drop off, if any, is just kidding around or completely clueless. Both teams have talent on top of talent down the depth chart.

As for TM7, kid had a bad game and now all of a sudden he can't cover? In 2010 your DBs let Jordan fricking Jefferson carve them up for a career game. /thread.

What valid points? That you lost the bulk of your linabacking corp( which is your strength) and the bulk of your secondary( your second strength) and your one option in the running game. While LSU returns it's strength on defense and offense. Yes I'm just yelling geaux tigahs. I've forgot more football than you will ever know. DWI

I was saying TM7 wasn't great in coverage all year. Rewatch every play he was in where he wasn't romaing or rushing, and tell me he's better than average. (Don't rewatch in one sitting, it'd take like two weeks of occasionally watching.)

Dude the whole world saw that kid get abused in one on one coverage. He looked bad on those passes and he didn't impact the game at all. You had DB recruits like Geno Smith tweeting laughing that Mathieu can't cover.

When a OC throws two post corner routes against the same DB with the same formation they have found a flaw. Keep on thinking the kid is a all world DB, but you're kidding yourself.

Mathieu gave up 4 passes in that game. I wonder how many Claiborne gave up. I wonder how many throws went Claiborne way.

Minus a 75 yard gift TD, 9 of 12 for 69 yards.

I think we exacted payback in January.

quote:

That you lost the bulk of your linabacking corp( which is your strength)

Mosley - Better pure Linebacker than Hightower on the inside. Literally our third ILB last year and the best ILB in the nation this year.

Nico - Started/shared time with Mosley for the past two years, best run stuffing LB in the country.

Hubbard - Faster than Upshaw, better in coverage, could be a better pass rusher.

Dickson - Better in coverage than Harris, better pass rusher than Harris, lacked the understanding of the defense last season, which he has now.

quote:

bulk of your secondary( your second strength)

Lester - Best cover Safety (not best all around Safety) in the country

Milliner - Locked down nearly everyone last year. Was a beast in man to man and led the team in picks. Was the most targeted of our DBs.

Belue - So much talent. Like Milliner in 2010. What is the difference? Belue already knows more about the defense than Milliner or Menzie did halfway through the 2010 season. Great ball skills, good hands, and as fast as any DB in the country.

Dixon - Could be a liability. He's a hard hitter, and will develop into a lockdown CB, but at the start of the season I see him making some mental errors.

Sunseri - Vinnie Badger. Will probably have more Total Tackles than any other non-Linebacker on the team. Will snag at least 3 INTs.

quote:

your one option in the running game

Lacy, with an injury, through 12 games (didn't have the injury for EVERY game), while BARELY even seeing garbage time, rushed for almost as many yards and TDs as Richardson did in the same role, AND Lacy had less carries.

Fowler - Proven bruiser. Won't be somebody you gameplan for, but could easily go up against any defense in the country and run the ball 3 (or 4) times a drive, straight up the gut, and will get 2 first downs a drive doing it.

Hart - Scatback. The injury isn't even bothering him, will be used out of the back field a lot.

Yeldon - The next GREAT Bama back. (Lacy is going to be really good. He's going to produce, but TJY has a bigger upside.)

I've got the game on DvD. (and it is on the internet, but I'd rather watch it on my TV.)

If I watch it later, which I might, I'll see how many times each DB was targeted, and how many catches they gave up.

Edit : Was watching the 11/5 game earlier, didn't finish, but was watching Montgomery on every play. Barrett Jones locked his arse down. He got most of his plays against TEs.

I've seen the all 22 of 7 of his games last year. While he is better at roaming his cover skills aren't lacking. He has been projected as early as first round pick and as late as second. Sorry you're wrong.

1) You can't take away a big play like that to try to make your point like it didn't happen. And sadly that WAS a career game for him.

2) My point was those same DBs came back in 2011 better than ever. Y'all are acting like its impossible for TM7 to improve. And in the grand scheme of things he had 4 balls caught on him on 1/9. Y'all act like he gave up 3 TDs.

Like how your buddy Rick thinks he can take away everything pre-2000 and act like it never happened.

You realize watching on DVD means shite. You don't know what defense is doing. All 22 is where it's at if you can get a hook up.
