Yeah, ball state hasn’t really played that bad, the coaches haven’t helped them at all. In hindsight it’s easy to say, but if they just played less than super aggressive they wouldn’t be in a bad spot now , like they are.

Ball State plays almost everyone tough. Tennessee being up 17-0 before the 1st quarter is over shouldn’t be taken lightly.

I thought they said it’s been forever since a power 5 win, but that wouldn’t make sense because they won the mac three seasons ago. I think they probably would have beat a power 5 school that year or one of the years since, considering they’ve been to a bowl three years in a row

A bit tricky tack. Utk seems out of synch. They're up 3 scores, granted, but it's not as smooth as you'd expect given the hype for the season .
This is the problem with weak Game 1 opponents. When you know you can win on talent alone, fall camp focus isn't what it should be.
Not just a UTk thing, I think we'll see a lot of sloppy play across the SEC beyond normal Game 1 struggles this weekend because of the slate
