It's still pitch black out there. There's no power, so no one can see anything until day breaks. Amazing just how much that complicates things.

Trussville has some homes reported damaged and gas leaks, but no reports of injuries or fatalities from there as of now.

I think most of it went north of main trussville... Chalkville, Grayson Valley, Argo, Margaret was the path..

Friend of mine in the Derby Pkwy area said he didn't see or hear a thing, but his power went out.

What area of Trussville? Looks like the storm only hit the far north and east part of the city. If they're in any other part, they should be safe.

It was north of him. I lost power for about 20 min and then it came back..

pic of the tornado that passed through is on abc3340.. looks like it was a huge one.

Sweeney Hollow Rd is a mess.. Chalkville was hit hard and Oak Grove was hit hard

3 confirmed fatalities on Toad Vine Rd in Oak Grove

Terrible news there, for a town that was devastated by a tornado just a few years ago.

The only bright spot about tonight is that the tornado that ripped through Maplesville dissipated just before it hit downtown Clanton. That would have been awful.
