Hell, that entire area is pretty densely populated. At least eight homes reported down in Trussville.

I went up to dad's, he's got a basement, was on his back porch and the sky looked like a strobe light there was so much lightening as it passed just south of us.

Yeah.. everything good immediately around here. lost power for about 20 min was it. I'm at the base of Butler Mtn, and it seems to direct airflow towards Tville or North of us. Very fortunate usually and very blessed over the years.

Yeah... Bella and I were talking about the general luck of the over the mountain areas earlier today. Thinking back on that now feels really, really fricking weird.

saw that.. being more rural and less populated will help with that one, hopefully and keep damage and injuries down.

Yeah. It doesn't even have to be a particularly strong storm to hurt a lot of people if it's tearing through subdivisions.

The guy on Fox 6 is guessing an EF3.

They just showed a completely destroyed structure that they said was at Legacy Lane off Deerfoot Parkway.

Looks like it's going into Maplesville. Debris ball. That one could be horrible.

dang.. that's about 2 miles from here.. never heard it though..

And yeah.. the one in Chilton County is nasty looking. That could be an EF4 or larger from the way it's looking on radar with the debris ball.
