I was once up in a tree, looping them with a rope as they rooted around below me, and I fell out of the tree! Those things were tearing me up fierce! Luckily, my dog ran them off. But he got awful bad torn up in the process. I was able to get him home and get him healed up, but had to shoot him a little after that on account of the the phobia.

I’d like to add Jayhawks into the discussion. Not only are they not a real bird, the names honors a group of terrorists who committed heinous war crimes during the civil war. Although I guess the Jayhawks players do honor this legacy well by terrorizing their community with their crimes that often go unpunished
