Its not just because its in state, but I think OSU Slo Pokes will make a huge turnaround. Gundy is gone and was flailing his later years.

They finished 1-11 last year. Brought in Eric Morris who brought in QB Mestemaker, and a bunch of other good players. Teams like this is where NIL era can pay off big-time quickly.

Big12 is pretty weak and I think they can get to 9-3, which would be an 8 game gain.

And since we know that conf is weak, what happens if they get to 10-2? Do they steal a playoff spot?

What other bad teams can make a huge turnaround?

I think Collin Klein puts the Wildcats in the hunt for the Big 12. He can get more production out of his QB just by giving him less reads and making more called calls.

Pedo State finished strong last year after Franklin got the boot, so they don’t quite fit the definition of a “bad” team, but i think they have a great shot at a playoff spot in year 1 under Campbell

2 toughest games are home vs Southern Cal and away vs UM back to back - they should be 5-0 going into those two Saturdays and the back end of their schedule is soft

they avoid Indy and tOSU, who will likely meet in the B1G CG so a 10 or 11 win PSU would probably sneak in as an at large

Army is due for a bounce back. I'd hate to coach at an Academy school with NIL poaching players unopposed from you but Army seems to have loaded up with players that fit their system.

And, for the record, thank God the academies can't do NIL. Imagine a school that can say "enh, we'll shave a billion dollars off for NIL this year." And, can legally recruit as many players as they want.

Virginia Tech finished 3-9 overall with just 2 wins in the atrocious ACC.

Franklin might be a greasy prick, but he wins everywhere he goes. I'll be shocked if he doesn't have the Hokies back to making noise again like they were under Beamer.
