Holy shite this is the stupidest thing I’ve seen in my entire life. I thought the players had the right mindset? Maybe Avery Jr is the poison hurting the team!

I dont know how much better Alabama would be if Avery stopped playing his son, but they'd be better that's for sure. The fact he's received double digit minutes in 5 SEC games this year is completely laughable. He's a mediocre walk on for a power conference program and Avery plays him alike a rotational player 
And this is in his THIRD year there, why the hell does he still play him so much?

To be fair, our other option for his minutes is a walk on who would maybe be a decent role player in the Big South but is not a SEC player. I still think he'd give us just as much or more than JR does and he's never even been given a shot.
However, the fact that those are our 2 options and that we haven't had any other roster depth issues like that at any other position is..........suspect, given the relationship status of the backup PG and the coach.

It’s truly amazing how much I as a Bama fan have gone from loving Avery’s hire to being disgusted with him and his family in every way. I think he and his family’s whole Cosby Show schtick is a fraud, just like his coaching ability. Anthony Grant was at least a fine man who was well liked and respected by all. Comments like this one reveal true character IMO.

I mean, you dont even have to play him. There's no reason to play 10-11 guys a game if guys 9, 10, 11 arent any good, plenty of teams in this conference play 8 guys comfortably and kind of mostly ignore the rest. I think at best you should play 9 guys, Giddens might can play a little, but definitely not AJ JR.

I really hope he publically addresses this and disciplines his son on the team for this. If he looks the other way I’ll be very disappointed.

Don't disagree, but our rotations are a mess even outside of the AJJ usage.

Yeah that makes it even worse. I understand a lot of college kids are like that but have some common sense and keep it off social media.
