Man, he's going to set the SEC on fire with those gaudy JUCO numbers.
He also did all of that on a team with JUCO players.....JUCO offensive linemen blocking for him, JUCO receivers running routes, etc.....
I really don't know why you guys are so worried about it.....if he sucks, then you should be ecstatic that we signed him.
Pay no attention to the same recruiting rankings that you have used as excuses to beat your chest for two years running.

You asked if Rollison was a good passer and I told you the truth. If you don't like it, take it up with the folks who evaluated him and the coaches who have coached him.....what do you want me to do, lie to you so that you feel good about your main rival? I'm not going to do that just to massage your football ego and your fragile emotional state over this stuff. Toughen up.
You obviously suck at understanding sarcasm. I mentioned Rollinson for one simple reason. Your talking points on Newton are mirror images to the ones put out about Rollinson. Rollinson will never see the field, both you and I know that. Grades or a bar fight will be his undoing. You had just better hope that Cam doesn't decide he needs a new laptop.

Secondly, it is, to use your earlier phrase, sweet irony that a fan would accuse me of using talking points when your school employs a coach who dictates to the media which questions to ask......
Holy shite, you really are Josh Moon. Does it hurt your feelings that the big mean coach talks down to you?

Ok, I got it now.
He was just average in JUCO because he played with average players.
It's going to be totally different now that he's in the SEC because he'll be playing with super awesome players on his new team in Auburn.

Yes auburn fans think the world of auburn's players and soon to be players, and bama fans think that said players suck.
Now I've saved everyone 3 more pages of useless shite.

Okay. i guess I thought this was about on-the-field productivity, but I can see it was about future off-the-field behavior that none of us can predict.

I was only pointing out your obvious hypocrisy in accusing me of talking points while your own coach tries to tell the media which questions to ask his players and is so paranoid that he won't even let his assistant coaches talk to the media.
In a competition of who tries to control the debate, I think your program wins that one by a fairly large margin.

He had 108 carries for 655 yards. That's an average of 54 yards per game against JUCO competition.
He had a 60.7 % completion percentage against JUCO competition.

You are a fricking moron. You are downing a QB that runs for 600+ yards? Idiot.
Now go ahead and post his passing yards and td's. He is a QB after all. The rushing is a bonus.

His stats are average against JUCO competition because he was playing with average players, but that's all about to change.
Now he's going to take over the SEC.
We should be really worried because he's going to be better than Tim Tebow and Auburn is going to have better athletes surrounding him than Tim Tebow had.
Like I said, I got it all figured out now. Thanks for the help.

Ooh, I didn't notice before that he almost passed for 240 per game against JUCO competition. That is amazing stuff right there.
And that 54 yards per game rushing is definitely going to increase in the SEC. It's going to be amazing to see.

No, you are using what is prognosticated for Newton at AU..not what has actually been produced. Much like Rollinson, hype was generated over what is perceived to be his future accomplishments. This is the same song and dance that has been trotted out for Kodi and Tyrik.

There was not a debate over who has a tighter grip. What was mentioned was the fact that you spew the company lines...the same ones that the AU beat reporters fall over themselves to get in before the issue deadline. You still are doing nothing other than bolstering my assertion that you are Josh Moon.

I will help you some more asshat...
Here are his JUCO stats. And don't try to spin it that he played against poor competition, because that can be spun right back that he had poor talent around him.
Passing: 2,833 yards, 28 TD, 5 Int
Rushing: 655 yards, 6.1 avg, 16 TD
So, in one year: 3,488 total yards, 44 TDs, 5 Int and a JUCO NC.
Yes, you are right, very average stats it is obvious. Especially 44 TDs vs 5 Ints for a QB.

Yes, I'm sure that those 4 QB's who ranked ahead of him in total offense will receive tons of attention now that they have had even more impressive numbers in total offense than Cameron Newton.
I mean, he played at Florida, after all.
He's going to be awesome when all of his teammates are better than everyone else and he doesn't have to play around such mediocre teammates and competition.
He just never had a chance to dominate in JUCO like he should have.
But boy, he is really going to shoot out the lights in the two years he has left.
Yessir. The SEC is in big trouble now that ya'll have a 60 percent passer and an extra 50 yards of rushing per game, all of which is certain to improve when he starts playing in the SEC.

Isn't this the reason recruiting rankings have been followed so closely by college football fans for a while now? Nothing more than speculation based on talent? Cam's numbers were good enough to make him the number one JUCO prospect in the country, he was a five star QB coming out of HS, he was recruited by a lot of big time programs this go 'round and so we are understandably encouraged.
As for TR, nothing has changed on the talent front, so I'm not sure why you think him getting in trouble (for what, we don't know) is some sort of signal that any QB we sign, like Cam, will be a bust. That's some interesting logic at work right there.
TR will be ready to go in Spring, and he'll compete for the starting job.....

I'm not sure what point you are really arguing here? I don't know who Josh Moon is in the first place. I don't live in AL and haven't in quite a while, but I assume he is a beat writer for a paper in-state?
I'm also not sure where you are going with the "company line" stuff. It's not like there were only Auburn writers who were saying that Newton is a good QB prospect. Also, I'm certain that Newton's rankings by the recruiting services were not all compiled by Auburn beat writers....lol.
