That is on the 'SUGAR BOWL' ring, and not just dedicated for the west. Try again.
So Alabama made a Sugar Bowl ring after losing the Sugar Bowl?
Of course not.
They made a ring that they were going to the sugar bowl because they were SEC WEST Champions just like it says on the Ring

Also incorrect. You’re not even trying at this point.

Ok. I'm going to have to call bullcrap on this one. Kenny Bell played for Alabama in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.
2010 Alabama did not win or tie the West.
2011 LSU won the West outright
2012 Alabama won the West outright
2013 Alabama tied Auburn and Auburn took the tie breaker.
So, if there is 3 West Championship rings in the picture...either it isn't Kenny Bell, or those aren't all his rings, or there isn't 3 West Co-Championship rings in the pic.
Those are not SEC West rings. Three national championship rings and three BCS rings (2009 (Kenny redshirted), 2011 and 2012) plus two SEC champ rings (2009 & 2012)

Most schools get a ring for going to most bowls, but especially for BCS bowls.
It was also our 1st BCS bowl since 1999.

You can clearly read the word “National” on 6 of those rings, btw.

Chiz, are you too fricking stupid to understand the difference in recognizing a player for his participation in a season, and hanging a banner, or painting sign proclaiming to the world a particular accomplishment?
so then bama's recognition of their division championship with the ring is a participation trophy?
none of you have still answered the main question
why should auburn not recognize the team that won the SEC West?

So when they also include ncs etc in the same area it’s for information not bragging? Because it sure looks like bragging. Especially the media guide...

When who claims to have "all those divisional championships"?....the media?
No that would be Alabama and their media department.

I've read your rationalizations on this board for a long time, NYC...so I'll take that little comment with its appropriate grain of salt.
So in other words just rationalizing for doing something more “permenant” than what you are chastising Auburn for doing. The goal post feet have got to be sore after this thread.

It seems beneath a program of Auburn’s caliber to not only recognize the players, but advertise it with a gigantic wall mural.
Then again, perhaps it’s not.

Give you barn dwelling goat humpers an inch and you'll take a mile. Next thing we'll see is a 'Regular Season Champ' thing going up.

You'll see that in March when we win the SEC in basketball.

A lot of fuss over a vinyl sticker in some hallway that will probably get swapped out for something else in a year.

This is being stated by the fan of a school who although they have many legitimate NCs, still felt the need to basically invent 5-6 more.

Don't you dare trivialize this Coco. We've 9 pages invested here.

Alabama is the last school to look down their nose at another school for claiming a championship. It is like Rosie O'Donnall calling someone a fat ugly bitch.

2) If winning the west, but losing the championship is a major accomplishment to Auburn, then by all means shout it from the roof top, but when you do, you're simply categorizing yourselves as a middle-of-the-road program with little to be proud of...and you made the choice.

You have added all sorts of arguments that haven't been stated.
Bottom line is you apparently don't value winning the division, which is sad
