Why would they say Auburn is overrated after beating LSU?

Is it because LSU is a pretender?

You may be correct, but what is your idea of "shut down" and "low scoring"? It differs for a lot of us.

Auburn gave up 24 against Florida and you want to make the above statement after what you witnessed, I suppose, this past weekend in BR? You really don't know much about football do you?

Their DL is loads better than anyone else's, so they WILL get pressure on Burrow

burrow was never sacked and had 3 incompletions in 24 attempts saturday against "DUBU". Florida's defense held auburn in check and now auburn is going to "shut down" LSU?

in tiger stadium? oh ok

Not sure what OP is trying to accomplish with this, but Auburn has some issues in the secondary. They are susceptible to being beat deep, but that's not necessarily LSU's game. They like to get the ball out quick which kinda plays into AUs strength in the secondary as they are great tacklers.

LSU wont run the ball on Auburn like they were able to against UF. That was the biggest surprise of the game to me that LSU found it's running game.

All that said though, Auburn will not be shutting down LSUs offense. Can they slow them down enough to keep them in the game for a while? Maybe, but doubtful. It's a bad matchup for AU. It's a moot point if Gus doesnt fix his damn offense anyway. Defense can play its arse off but cant win the game if the offense cant score (see the AU/UF game).

The SEC is now the Big 12 East. Say Good-Bye to the days of great defense.

It is what it is.

Well if that is the case, that is a major concern for Auburn.

I haven't watched a ton of LSU this year admittedly, but what I have seen looked to be more in the BAMA mold of quick throws and crazy athletes making plays. But if yall can go downfield at will along with the quick game (esp over the middle since our coaches and players think it is illegal to defend the middle of the field) Burrow will feast.
