You can believe what you want but Lane was coming and even had arranged to take Q with him but his family was the reason he didn’t go. I think I would know that as an Ole Miss supporter more than you. My source on this one is very good. Btw, same source also has a good source at AU. So he has both sides on this one.

We are still doing just fine in recruiting.

I get the rationale. If a guy can win at Mississippi with so much less then he should kill it at Auburn.
Fiction: Ole Miss is a better program. Actually Auburn is a better program based on any metric that you want to use. Auburn has better facilities and more money and more recent success. I mean it had been 72 years since Ole Miss beat Auburn back to back. And leading into last Saturday they were 0-9 at night in JHS.
Fiction: Coach Freeze sucks. Actually Freeze has won everywhere he’s been. Look at his year 2 results at each stop. Next year look for AU to be much stronger.
Freeze may or may not work out at Auburn. If he does, cool. If he doesn't, cool.
We'll know in a few years. Speculation is worthless, but fun to talk about I guess.
