Well if they would count National Championships the way Alabama does Auburn would have 9. That might be way they considered it.

I personally think we should follow in bammers footsteps and claim national championships for every year we finished in 3rd place in the SEC. Kind of like bammer does for 1941

Ah, more exaggerations of how good '04 USC was. It's amazing how people remember that team, all thanks to a shitty Oklahoma team that shouldn't have been there.

Auburn might have been there had they not shite the bed in '03. Also beating a 6-win and unranked Alabama team by a mere 8 points didn't help your case either.

Didn't hurt USC when they squeaked by a couple of teams that were even worse that year. And AU was up what 21-6 until bama scores a meaningless last second td?
