Why not? Give me a good reason to exclude Auburn from that game.

I would. At the time, it was hard for anyone to find a reason for AU to jump #'s 1 & 2, but looking back and in the future...any tie should go to the SEC.

Though I agree, didn't the 1 and 2 team go almost wire to wire in the rankings?

QB - Bama
RB - Auburn
WR - Very close, I'll go with Bama though. Your guys have experience, but let's be honest they suck.
TE - Sure even.
DL - Auburn
LB - Auburn
DB - Close again, probably even. Kareem Jackson is a very good young player.
ST - Even. Our punter blows, our kicker is decent, and Arenas is a very bad man.

Qb- Does either team have one?
Rb- Au- come on not even close
Wr- They have receivers? See Qb comment.
Te- See Qb and Wr. Bama does have a fair
blocking Te but his name escapes me. Edge to Bammer.
Ol- I will go with Bammer, Auburns O line will be watched like hawks which will force a timid line. That equals a bad year.
Dl- Au and its not close.
Lb- Again Au
Db- Toss up, you pick.
St- Bammer- the only good thing they have going is Arenas.
Coaching- I give the edge to Tubb's. Saban doesn't have the right Asst. coaches in for the "PROCESS" to work this year.

other than Rolando McClain, they have no LBs. That is why I gave the nod to Auburn.

Suspended. Saban will not say for how long. I am guessing until half time of the Clemson game.

Auburn vs. Bama by position - My Opinion
QB - Bama - due to JPW's experience
RB - Auburn - Terry Grant is not that good and Auburn has Tate and Lester
WR - Auburn - Has all the experience with Rod Smith, Dunn, and Billings returning
TE - Even - neither use tight ends all that much
OL - Bama - Andre Smith and Caldwell are studs
DL - Auburn - Marks is a future 1st rounder and A.Coleman is also a future star
LB - Auburn - Blackmon and 4 seniors lead this group
DB - Auburn - Powers is an All-SEC player and a big playmaker, Bama has R. Johnson and I think he is still in jail.
ST - Auburn - Shoemaker and Byrum are better than whoever Bama has

Final - Auburn wins 6-2-1 and run their streak to 7 wins in a row this year.
